It is my pleasure to welcome you to the Alberta Little People Association website. The main focus of our association is to provide support and guidance for members and their families who may have some form of dwarfism.
I’ve been fortunate enough to have been involved with our organization since I was very young. Because of this association as well as with my membership in the Little People of America, my outlook on life as a person with short stature has been shaped in a very positive manner.
Our website is very useful in several different aspects, from providing an extensive database of medical doctors who deal with dwarfism, to providing contacts for advice and support on the various types of dwarfism. Please feel welcome to make use of these contacts.
I see our association as not only being a close-knit group, but more like extended family. The members I have met and the friendships I have developed have had a significant impact in my life, and I personally would like to thank you all for making ALPA such a wonderful organization to be a part of.
